Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FeriBazaar app and website (the "Service"), operated by FeriBazaar ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

FeriBazaar is a hyperlocal marketplace that helps street vendors ("Vendors") share their location, route, and product listings, and helps nearby individuals ("Customers") discover Vendors, receive arrival alerts, reserve products, and communicate with Vendors. FeriBazaar is a platform that facilitates discovery and communication — it is not a party to, and does not control, any sale, purchase, or transaction between a Vendor and a Customer.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent/guardian where required, to create an account.
• You must provide a valid mobile number and verify it via OTP. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Vendor Accounts

Vendors agree to provide accurate business information, product listings, pricing, and operating hours, and to keep their live location accurate while on an active route. Additional vendor-specific obligations are set out in our Vendor Agreement, which forms part of these Terms for Vendor accounts.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including fake vendor listings, locations, or reviews).
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, including through in-app chat or reviews.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
• Attempt to access another user's account or any non-public part of the Service.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Service data except as permitted by our public APIs or sitemap.

5. Reservations & Transactions

"Reserving" a product through the Service is a request that the Vendor sets aside an item for you — it is not an online purchase or payment made through FeriBazaar. Any payment, exchange, pricing, quality, or fulfillment of goods happens directly between the Customer and the Vendor, and FeriBazaar is not responsible for the outcome of that interaction.

6. Reviews & Ratings

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with the Vendor. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive, or violate these Terms, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly post such content.

7. Intellectual Property

The FeriBazaar name, logo, app, and website (excluding content submitted by users) are owned by FeriBazaar. You retain ownership of content you submit (such as product photos and descriptions), but grant FeriBazaar a license to host, display, and use it to operate and promote the Service, including on category and city pages.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (such as maps, image hosting, or app stores). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that any particular Vendor will be available, that listings are accurate or current, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. FeriBazaar does not verify the quality, safety, or legality of items sold by Vendors.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeriBazaar will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from interactions or transactions between Customers and Vendors.

11. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms, provides fraudulent information, or poses a risk to other users or the platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
